This series of coins are not alike to our daily circulation coins, it are proof coins. Proof coinage means special early samples of a coin issue, historically made for checking the dies and for archival purposes, but nowadays often struck specially for coin collectors (numismatists). At the year of 1992, Bank Negara Malaysia was only issued this series of proof coinages to their staffs and NOT AVAILABLE for public collection. Since the issuing of circulation $1 and 1 sen coins were terminated few years ago, thus the collectible value of this series of proof coinages are unpredictable at future as it was only limited issuing compared to other countries.
